Linn Soil and Water Conservation District stumbled across the Minnesota Weatherguide Environment Calendar and thought
"what a great calendar" to replicate here in Iowa." A phone call or two later and a partnership
was forged. For over twenty-six years, Midwesterners from around the world have depended on the
Minnesota Weatherguide Environment Calendars for accurate and timely meteorological information. Now we have an Iowa
version of this award-winning calendar!
Our missions are the same as both the Freshwater Society and
the Conservation District recognizes freshwater is vital to all living things. At the same time we both know
the quality and the amount of accessible freshwater is threatened around the world. We both dedicate our experience
and resources to activities that lead to the understanding, protection, enhancement, and restoration of freshwater resources."
